Oh. My. Gosh. This is the most stunning valley I have ever seen, EVER. Part of the Los Nevados National Natural Park, Cocora Valley is home to the national tree and symbol of Colombia, the Quindío wax palm, and boasts some of the most picturesque landscapes in all of Colombia. They average 160 feet and are the tallest palms in the world! We hiked up and over one of the mountains, totaling 10.3 kilometers in roughly six hours.
It was just beautiful.
